Renai Gallagher brings over 25 years of experience in physical therapy with a focus on recovery from injury, mobility, and aging well. She earned her Bachelor of Science in Physical Therapy from the University of New Mexico in 1997, a Master of Science from Rocky Mountain University of Health Professions in 2003, and a Doctorate in Physical Therapy from A.T. Still University in 2019.
In 2025, Dr. Gallagher expanded her expertise by becoming a Certified Geriatric Care Manager (CGCM) through the International Commission on Health Care Certification (ICHCC) and a Certified Dementia Provider (CDP), allowing her to integrate care management and dementia support into her holistic, client-centered practice.
Dr. Gallagher works in private practice, combining exercise prescription with movement and manual therapy to promote wellness, enhance body awareness and reduce pain.
Throughout her career, she has served clients of all ages, primarily in outpatient rehabilitation and private practice settings. Her clinical focus includes orthopedic, neurologic and pelvic health conditions, along with wellness-based services and menopause coaching.
In addition to her clinical work, Dr. Gallagher serves as an associate faculty member in the Division of Physical Therapy at the University of New Mexico. Since 2013, she has taught courses on pelvic health and related topics, sharing her expertise with the next generation of healthcare professionals.
Dr. Gallagher is a Certified Geriatric Care Manager and experienced physical therapist who provides compassionate, practical support for older adults and their families.
